Understanding Migrant Destitution in Northern Ireland – Webinar

February 17 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

The newly published Understanding Migrant Destitution in Northern Ireland paper raises significant questions about how migration and homelessness intersect across our society. To support our members in exploring these findings, Homeless Connect will host a joint event with the pan-UK Migrant Homelessness Frontline Network.

The session will include a presentation on the paper and the realities of NRPF in Northern Ireland, a discussion of the recommendations, and an overview from the pan-UK network on how frontline staff can stay informed about migration-related developments.

Speakers include Lucy Leon, Senior Researcher for the Global Exchange on Migration and Diversity, and Bethan Lant, Project Lead at Praxis Community Projects.

This event will offer a timely opportunity for learning, reflection and shared discussion on one of the most complex and urgent issues affecting people at risk of homelessness in Northern Ireland.
