A bit about the role
Action for Children’s Northern Family Support Hub Service works across the Northern Health & Social Care Trust area supporting children aged 0-17 and their families access early intervention support when they need it most. The Hub is funded by the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.
The Hub is a multi-agency network of organisations that provide early intervention services in the area and in your role you will coordinate this forum to signpost referrals for families who need early intervention services in the most efficient way. This will involve directly linking with families and other professionals. You’ll work to look at the needs of families and work to match families’ needs to the best possible service or services that can help.
You’ll be based in our office in Steeple Road, Antrim and the normal working hours are 9.00-5.00 Monday-Friday however, there may be a need for flexibility within this to meet the needs of the service. The Family Support Hubs cover the whole of the Northern Health & Social Care Trust area, however, this role is primarily for the Magherafelt/Cookstown area.
