The Salvation Army are seeking to recruit an experienced manager to lead their existing frontline teams and further develop their well established and high-quality service located in Belfast.
The Salvation Army operates over 80 supported accommodation services across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. We call these services ‘Lifehouses’ because they are more than a place to stay. They are places where people can access support with their housing issues – but also find support to develop person centred support with other aspects of their lives such as employment & training, money management, loneliness & isolation, addiction, mental health and spirituality.
The accommodation and support that is offered in Centenary House is for single adults aged 18+. We accommodate up to 68 males, 13 of which are probation clients and 3 of which are Drug Accommodation Support Project clients.
The Service Manager will oversee the operation of this service in terms of performance management and develop and enhance the strategic and operational relationship with key stakeholders.
In addition, the role of Service Manager is central to achieving positive outcomes for our vulnerable clients with responsibility for local strategic vision and direction along with the day to day leadership of a team of dedicated professionals. You will champion excellence in terms of high-quality, cost-effective client centred service delivery.
