1. PRICE AND PAYMENT

This event is exempt from VAT as the content is geared towards educating/training the delegates. You can choose to pay online by card at the time of booking or request an invoice from our finance department. If you request an invoice, payment must be in accordance with our standard invoice terms (thirty days from date of invoice, or prior to the commencement of the conference, whichever is sooner).

Card payments made through this website are processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment provider. We do not store or have access to your full card details at any stage of the payment process. Stripe applies a non-refundable processing fee to each card transaction, which will be added to your total at checkout and shown separately before you confirm payment. By choosing to pay online, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service, available at stripe.com/legal. 2. MEMBERSHIP PRICING

Member pricing is only available to current Homeless Connect members. If a booking is made at the member rate by  an individual or organisation that is not a current member at the time of booking, we reserve the right to request payment of the outstanding amount between the member and non-member price.

3. SPECIAL OFFERS

We are offering a 10% discount for bookings made prior to 31 August 2026; any booking made from 1 September 2026 onwards will not be eligible for discount. This discount applies regardless of which payment method you choose.

4. CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING

After making a booking, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your booking request. Please note, your booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received. If you pay online by card at the time of booking, your place is confirmed immediately. If you request an invoice, your place is provisional and will only be confirmed once payment has been received in full.

5. CONFERENCE CONTENT

We reserve the right to make changes to the published programme including changes to speakers, timings, venue arrangements or session content. In such cases, you will not be entitled to a refund if you cancel your place.

6. CONFERENCE VENUE

You are liable for any loss or damage which you may cause to venue premises and agree to adhere to all housekeeping rules, procedures and policies. If you have accessibility requirements, medical conditions, or dietary requirements that may require reasonable adjustments, please notify us of your requirements when making your booking.

7. CANCELLATIONS

If you cannot attend the conference, you can send a colleague as a replacement at no additional cost.  Refund requests must be submitted no later than five (5) working days prior to 7 October 2026. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after this deadline or for non-attendance on the day of the event. To cancel or amend your ticket, contact events@homelessconnect.org

8. RIGHTS IN MATERIALS

All copyright and other rights (including all intellectual property rights) in materials provided to you during the conference (including, without limitation, slides, brochures, articles or case studies) are the property of the Homeless Connect or of our speakers. You are entitled to use such materials only for your own personal use. You are not entitled to copy such materials (except as permitted by law) nor are you entitled to use or authorise others to use such materials for any commercial purposes.

9. IMAGES

We often take photographs and video recordings at events for marketing purposes. By attending an event, you are giving us permission to use images in which you may be present. In addition, these images may be shared and stored on third-party platforms. Should you not wish to appear in any images, please notify a Homeless Connect representative at the conference.

10. OUR LIABILITY

Event attendees shall be required to keep their personal belongings with them at all times, and we accept no liability for damage to, or loss of, personal belongings. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss (including, without limitation, theft) of any property occasioned on our premises or at external venues save for any damage caused by our negligence in which circumstances our liability shall be limited to the amount of our insurance for such losses. Nothing in these online event booking terms and conditions excludes our liability to you for personal injury or death caused by our negligence.

11. EVENT CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT Homeless Connect reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule the event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including speaker unavailability, venue issues, industrial action, severe weather, public health concerns or other force majeure events.

In such circumstances, attendees will be offered either a transfer to the rescheduled event or a refund of the ticket price paid. We shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by attendees, including travel or accommodation expenses.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland, and any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
