The Simon Community are holding a research launch for a new piece of research entitled “Access to Health Care for Women Experiencing Homelessness in Northern Ireland”. The research was undertaken by Sarah McNeill, a PhD Researcher at Queens University Belfast (QUB), a collaboration between QUB and the Simon Community Northern Ireland.

The study explores what access to healthcare looks like for women experiencing homelessness in Northern Ireland and how it could be improved. Harnessing the voices of women experiencing homelessness and other stakeholders to provide a real picture of experience, challenges, and solutions.
The findings from this study will have important implications for practice and collaborative working as well as supporting a better service response to women experiencing homelessness.
