Our member organisation, First Housing Aid and Support Services are hosting a special 24-Hour Busk starting at 6pm on 17th March 2023 alongside the Mayor of Derry and Strabane Council. The purpose of the busk is to raise funds to support their work in responding to homelessness in Derry/Londonderry.

On the steps of the Guildhall, there will be an array of local musical talent performing supported by organisers and businesses. All donations will be given to First Housing Aid & Support Services, as Mayor’s Charity of the year, in support of homelessness services in Northern Ireland. 

First Housing Aid and Support Services (FHASS) is a voluntary sector non-profit making organisation that believes that everyone has a fundamental right to a home that is safe, secure and affordable. They focus on preventing individuals and families from becoming homeless in the first place, as well as the provision of accommodation and support to help ensure individuals achieve the skills they need to live independently in the community.
